What strategies do you have in place for March to surpass your patients’ expectations and welcome more new patients? If you haven’t planned anything yet or need ideas to make March exceptional, I’ve got you covered. Take a look at these suggestions.
The Practice Growth Tips and Ideas shared monthly aim to enhance and expand your practice by focusing on three key areas:
- In-Office / Exceed Patients Expectations – Ways to totally wow your patients, leaving them raving about you, your team, and your practice to everyone they know after their visit! 🙂
- Social Media – Seek out and generate opportunities to showcase your practice’s personality to patients and potential patients. This is an easy and effective strategy to maintain visibility among both active and inactive patients.
- Community Engagement – Ideas to help you foster and strengthen community relationships.
This month kicks off Spring, the season of fresh beginnings and growth. This is a great time to remind your patients to spring clean their dental health routine. (Note: National Cleaning Week: 24-30)
- Brush your teeth at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
- Floss daily to clean between teeth.
- Remember to brush your tongue.
- Drink water.
- Eat Healthy to Smile Healthy.
- Don’t smoke or Vape.
- Schedule your dental wellness cleaning and examination.
Community Engagement and Appreciation –
National Nutrition Month – Deliver nutritious snacks to local businesses near the office. Remember to include toothbrushes or lip balm imprinted with your office name.
National Mom & Pop Business Owner’s Day: 29 – Use this day to highlight local “mom & pop”/small businesses in your community on your social media platforms. They’ll appreciate the shout-out.
Educational Opportunities –
False Teeth Day: March 9 – Post reminders and denture care tips on Facebook and Instagram. Why not deliver this information along with free toothbrushes to your local senior living centers?
Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently and thoroughly brush your dentures to loosen and remove bacteria, food particles, and plaque.
If you’ve had dentures for a while, and you’re now experiencing soreness, bring your dentures to us so we can examine your mouth and make the necessary adjustments to your dentures to restore your comfort.
Sleep Awareness Week: March 10th -16th –
March is Kidney Month – Encourage regular dental wellness visits. Tooth decay and gum disease can result in infections that may pose challenges for individuals with kidney disease. According to a study in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology, individuals with kidney disease and those undergoing dialysis have a higher likelihood of experiencing periodontal disease and other oral health issues compared to the general population.
