Dental Practice Growth and Marketing Ideas for December 2022

Dental Practice Growth and Marketing Ideas for December 2022

Hello Friends,

Wow, I can’t believe we’re already at the end of the year! It doesn’t feel like that long ago that I was sharing practice growth tips and ideas for the start of this year. Where are you at with your practice growth goals for this year?

Doctors, if you are not happy with where your practice is at and would like to grow and improve your dental practice and have wondered what it might be like to work with me and what coaching is all about, or would like to learn what opportunities for improvement exist in your practice... please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a complimentary, no-obligation coaching call at bhaydenconsulting@gmail.com.

The ideas that I am sharing for the month of December when implemented, WILL help you attract more new patients, build relationships within the community, as well as exceed your current patients’ expectations. Get people talking about you! As always, my goal is to also help you all stress-less and have more fun at work!

To encourage patients to keep their scheduled appointments during December, consider having a drawing for a gift basket (ie: filled with cozy winter items & hot cocoa supplies) or a gift card to a local business/restaurant that your patients can enter to win when they come in for their dental appointment before December 23rd.

Patient Appreciation Gift Ideas – Cookie Day: 4th and Hot Cocoa Day: 12th – All month long you can give away individually wrapped cookies with a packet of hot cocoa mix and a tag/label attached that says “Warm Wishes for a Sweet Winter“.

National Hand Washing Awareness Week: 4th-10th

Purchase small bottles of hand sanitizer with your office information on the label.  Give away to your patients during this week or throughout the month.  “Hands down we have the best patients around.”

Travel Toothbrush Bags – Many of your patients travel during the holidays – Surprise them with a small gift for their travels. Put together toothbrush bags that include a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and a “what to do in a dental emergency” handout. You could also include other travel-sized items such as lotion, Advil, lip balm, etc.

Gift Certificates: Remember, Gift Certificates/Cards for Teeth Whitening or Dental Treatment should always be available for your patients to purchase as gifts for their loved ones.

Community Involvement: Donations – Open your office as a Drop-Off Location for donations of non-perishable food items or winter gear for families/individuals in need.

Hello Friends,

To help you enjoy a fun and productive summer with you and your team I have some dental marketing (growth) tips and ideas for you for the month of August.

With some planning, enthusiasm, and implementation you have the chance to really set yourselves apart from the other offices in the community, welcome more new patients, exceed your current patients’ expectations have less stress, and more fun as a team. We all need more of that.

Doctors, if you would like to grow and improve your dental practice and have wondered what it might be like to work with me and what coaching is all about… please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a complimentary, no-obligation coaching call at bhaydenconsulting@gmail.com.

Dental Office Marketing (Growth) Tips and Ideas for the month of August…

For many parents with school-aged children, August and September can be hectic months preparing for and getting back into the school routine. Here are some ideas to help make the back-to-school season fun (& healthy) for the community and profitable for your dental office.

Theme:  Back-to-School with Healthy Smiles!

Target Audience: Teachers and school-aged children.

Focus: Preventive Dental Services.

What: Education, Community Involvement, and Special Offers

  • Send a press release to local papers and news stations with “Children’s Dental Health Tips for Parents,” such as healthy snack and beverage ideas, when to visit the dentist, what-to-do in a dental emergency, brushing and flossing tips, mouthguard information, sealants information, and more.
  • Facebook (live) videos sharing the aforementioned tips and ideas.
  • Share social media and blog posts with dental health tips for children.
  • Promote special offers just for teachers and students during August.
  • August is Get Ready for Kindergarten Month – Send out a press release and promote social media posts that focus on kindergarten-aged children.
  • Send treats/snacks to your local schools along with some imprinted office items such as toothbrushes.

Donations – Use your office as a community donation site for school supplies or new & gently used books to be donated to local children and/or schools in need. Advertise in office, on your social media sites, to local businesses and the news media via press release that your office is collecting donations for school supplies or books.

This is a GREAT way to bring in potential new patients… when folks come into the office to drop off their donations, be sure to warmly welcome them, give a brief tour of the office, hand out small thank you gifts that are imprinted with your office information or have a raffle they can enter to win a prize.

Or you could do this…

August is “Happiness Happens Month” – Theme: Happiness & Healthy Smiles

Throughout the years, studies have shown that there is a connection between happiness and dental health. That means maintaining your dental health will lead you and your children, friends, and family, to a healthier, happier life down the line.

Dental Office Management and Leadership Ideas for June 2021

Dental Office Management and Leadership Ideas for June 2021

Hello Friends,

Did you catch my dental marketing ideas for June? If not, here is the link June 2021 Marketing Ideas

Now that you have your marketing plans set for June…

Are you looking to boost team morale? Is your dental schedule looking weak?

You’ll find several tips and ideas to help support your vision and mission right here.

Dental Practice Management and Leadership Ideas and Reminders for June

“Leadership is an action, not a position.” – Donald McGannon

Here are 8 Important Actios of Leadership (source: inc.com)

1. Learn to lead by example.

2. Be goal-oriented.

3. Take responsibility.

4. Share the glory.

5. Know how to develop a team.

6. Become a master of communication.

7. Be courageous and assertive.

8. Be confident.

Remember, “you can borrow knowledge, but not action.” – James Clear

Recess At Work Day: 17th

Get outside for a few minutes with your team for some fresh air. If you can’t all get outside, open the windows and turn up the radio.  How about a sweet treat to enjoy during “recess”? (ex: ice cream, frozen drink, etc.)

Doctors, if you’re struggling to reach your practice goals or you would just like to improve and refine your current office systems – feel free to contact me for a complimentary, no-obligation 30-minute telephone consultation at bhaydenconsulting@gmail.com to see if a coaching relationship is right for you.

Hygiene Continuing Care/Recare Reminders:

Postcard & Social Media Site Scripting Idea: Summertime is a great time of year and it can also be a busy time of year. We encourage you to remember to take the time to squeeze in your regular dental visit before the summer months fly by. Regular dental visits are so important to your overall health.

Incomplete Treatment Reports:

Many insurance companies renewed their maximum on June 1st. Pull a report of any patients due in hygiene or with incomplete treatment that have a June renewal date. Make calls and send letter/text/email that their maximum renewed and encourage them to schedule an appointment.

Some questions to consider:

  • Of your active patients (seen in the last 18 months) how many have a next appointment scheduled and how many do not?
  • How many patients left the practice this year?
  • What can you do together as a team to retain more patients by consistently exceeding their expectations?
  • What can you do together as a team to help more patients say yes to your very best care? Remember, When your patients are healthy – the practice is healthy.

Knowing your practice numbers and doing something with what you know about those numbers is key to growing and improving your practice. Numbers tell a story. Numbers tell you if your practice is healthy or unhealthy.

Do you know what your office numbers look like? How many of your active patients are unscheduled? How many patients you’re gaining and losing each month? You need to know where you’re at currently to know how to best care for your patients and what your potential for growth is. To help you get that data quickly, like within minutes – if your PMS is either Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental you can request a complimentary, no-obligation practice data snapshot here: Game-Changing Awareness from Dental Intelligence  – Within minutes we’ll identify your practice’s strengths and uncover hidden opportunities.  I am happy to assist you with this at no charge.

It always brightens my day to hear from you! If you appreciated these complimentary ideas I  would love for you to please take a minute to leave me a review/recommendation here on GOOGLE and/or FACEBOOK.  Thank you!!

Hope you enjoy these ideas and are able to use some of them to help make the month of June a fantastic one for you and your team.
